The Berrien County School District serves approximately 3,200 students in its five schools, one primary, one elementary, one middle school, one high school, and one charter school. Students from the high school may apply to attend the charter school. High school students may choose to pursue a traditional high school education or apply for duel enrollment, move-on-when–ready, or virtual opportunities. It is our belief that each student, regardless of socio-economic status, race, community, or family structure, deserves an education that will build strength of character and ensure career readiness. It is the responsibility of each employee within the district, regardless of job title, to provide exceptional instruction and/or exemplary services. Through collaboration efforts, district employees must ensure that all children attending Berrien County Schools are provided an education that will prepare them to be successful in a 21st century, multi-ethnic global economy. The Berrien County School District recognizes its obligation to the greater community to create an educational system that will encourage growth and prosperity to enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
